About Us
Our commitment is to provide comprehensive, high-quality dental care in a safe and professional environment, treating every patient with responsibility, consistency, and a personalized approach.
Our Policy
How We Operate
At our dental practice, patients are seen by appointment only, Monday through Friday.
Our primary goal is to provide dental care of the highest standard. For this reason, every appointment is carefully scheduled to ensure sufficient time for your comprehensive care, as well as for the implementation of all hygiene, sterilization, and treatment room preparation protocols.
A scheduled appointment involves the exclusive allocation of the dentist’s time and is subject to a consultation fee of €30, regardless of whether any treatment is performed.
The cost of any dental treatment is explained to the patient before treatment begins, and no procedure is carried out without the patient’s explicit consent. Should the patient decide not to proceed with the recommended treatment following the consultation and assessment, the consultation fee remains applicable.
The Dental Team reception staff will remind you of your scheduled appointment on the previous day, either by telephone or text message (SMS). However, responsibility for attending the appointment remains with the patient.
We kindly ask that you arrive at the practice at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us as early as possible, and no later than 24 hours in advance, or 48 hours in advance for scheduled surgical or prosthetic procedures.
In cases of late cancellation, failure to attend, unjustified withdrawal from a confirmed appointment, repeated cancellations, or recurrent missed appointments, the Dental Team reserves the right to charge the consultation fee.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events, such as sudden illness or emergencies, may arise. In such cases, we approach every situation with understanding and compassion. Whenever possible, we kindly ask that you inform us promptly.
“We respect your health, and we value your time.”

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I brush my teeth?
Ideally, you should brush your teeth twice a day for about two minutes each time using a fluoride toothpaste.
Do I really need to floss?
Yes. Dental floss or interdental brushes help clean the areas between your teeth that a toothbrush cannot reach, reducing the risk of tooth decay and gum disease.
Why do my gums bleed when I brush my teeth?
Bleeding gums are often a sign of gingivitis. Good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups can help treat and prevent gum problems.
What causes gingivitis?
Gingivitis is mainly caused by the buildup of plaque around the teeth and gums. If plaque is not removed properly, it can lead to gum inflammation, redness, swelling, and bleeding.
What causes bad breath?
Bad breath may be caused by poor oral hygiene, gum disease, tooth decay, dry mouth, or other factors. Identifying the cause is important for effective treatment.
Is tooth sensitivity to hot or cold normal?
Tooth sensitivity can be caused by enamel wear, gum recession, tooth decay, or other dental conditions. If it persists, a dental examination is recommended.
When should I replace my toothbrush?
Replace your toothbrush every three months, or sooner if the bristles become worn or after an illness or infection.
How often should I have a professional dental cleaning?
The recommended frequency depends on your oral health. For most people, a cleaning every six months is recommended, while those with a higher risk of gum disease may need more frequent visits. Your dentist will advise you based on your individual needs.
What happens during a professional dental cleaning?
During a professional cleaning, plaque and tartar are removed using specialised instruments or ultrasonic technology. Your teeth are polished to remove surface stains, and your dentist checks for issues such as cavities or gum problems. Fluoride treatment may also be applied to help protect your teeth.
Is professional dental cleaning recommended during pregnancy?
Yes. Professional dental cleaning is safe during pregnancy and helps prevent pregnancy-related gingivitis. The second trimester is usually considered the ideal time for routine dental care. Always inform your dentist about your pregnancy.
How is periodontitis treated?
Periodontitis is treated with a personalised plan aimed at controlling inflammation, stopping disease progression, and maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Regular follow-up visits with your dentist or periodontist are essential for long-term results.
Are dental X-rays safe?
Yes. Dental X-rays are considered very safe because they use very low levels of radiation. Modern digital technology further reduces exposure, and X-rays are only recommended when necessary for diagnosis and treatment planning.
When do I need a dental filling?
A filling may be needed when a tooth has decay, a crack, a small fracture, sensitivity, or an old filling that has worn out or fallen out. Early diagnosis can help prevent the need for more complex treatments.
Do dental fillings hurt?
No. Fillings are usually painless because local anaesthesia is used when needed. You may feel some pressure during the procedure and mild sensitivity afterwards, which usually improves within a few days.
What is a post and core restoration?
A post and core restoration is used when a tooth has lost a significant amount of structure and cannot be restored with a simple filling. A small fibre post is placed inside the root canal to support the rebuilding of the tooth.
Is root canal treatment painful?
No. Root canal treatment is performed under local anaesthesia, so you should not feel pain during the procedure. Mild discomfort or sensitivity may occur afterwards and usually resolves within a few days.
How much does root canal treatment cost?
The cost depends on several factors, including the type of tooth, the number of root canals, whether it is a first treatment or retreatment, and whether treatment is performed by a general dentist or an endodontist.
Which type of dental crown is best for my case?
The most suitable crown depends on the condition of your tooth, your functional needs, and your aesthetic goals. Your dentist will recommend the best option based on a proper diagnosis and personalised treatment plan.
Do I always need a crown after root canal treatment?
Not always. The need for a crown depends on how much healthy tooth structure remains, the position of the tooth, and the forces it receives during chewing.
Is tooth extraction painful?
With modern techniques and local anaesthesia, tooth extraction is usually a painless procedure. Mild discomfort or swelling may occur afterwards and can usually be managed with appropriate aftercare instructions.
What are dental implants?
Dental implants are a reliable long-term solution for replacing missing teeth. They are small biocompatible posts placed in the jawbone that act as artificial tooth roots and support restorations such as crowns, bridges, or dentures.
Is dental implant placement painful?
No. Dental implant placement is performed under local anaesthesia, so you should not feel pain during the procedure. Mild discomfort or swelling may occur for a few days afterwards and is usually easily managed.
How long do dental implants last?
With good oral hygiene, regular dental check-ups, and proper care, dental implants can last for many years and, in many cases, a lifetime.
How long does dental implant treatment take?
The duration depends on each case. Implant placement usually takes around 30–60 minutes, followed by a healing period of approximately 2–6 months for the implant to integrate with the jawbone.
Who is a suitable candidate for dental implants?
Most adults who have lost one or more teeth may be suitable candidates. Good general and oral health, fully developed jaws, and sufficient bone support are important factors for successful treatment.
How much do dental implants cost?
The cost depends on several factors, including the type of implant, the need for additional procedures such as bone grafting or sinus lift, and the final restoration placed on the implant.
Should I choose a dental bridge or a dental implant?
The best option depends on your oral health, the condition of neighbouring teeth, bone quality, and your personal needs. Your dentist will recommend the most suitable solution based on function, aesthetics, and long-term results.
Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes. Teeth whitening is a safe and effective cosmetic treatment when performed under the guidance of a dentist. Before treatment, your teeth and gums are checked to ensure they are healthy and suitable for whitening.
When is the right time to have teeth whitening?
Teeth whitening should be performed after a dental examination and when your teeth and gums are healthy. A professional cleaning is often recommended beforehand to remove surface stains and achieve the best possible result.
How long do teeth whitening results last?
The results vary from person to person and depend on oral hygiene, diet, and lifestyle habits. In most cases, the effects can last between one and three years and may be maintained with proper care.
What is dental bonding?
Dental bonding is a cosmetic treatment that uses tooth-coloured composite resin to improve the appearance of teeth. It can correct minor imperfections such as small chips, gaps, changes in tooth shape, or mild discolouration.
Is dental bonding painful?
No. Dental bonding is usually a painless procedure and often does not require local anaesthesia. The resin is applied, shaped, and hardened to create a natural-looking and durable result.
When is dental bonding the right choice for improving my smile?
Bonding is a suitable option for correcting minor to moderate cosmetic imperfections in a conservative way while preserving the natural tooth structure.
What are porcelain veneers?
Porcelain veneers are thin ceramic restorations placed on the front surface of teeth to improve smile aesthetics. They are custom-made to match the shape, colour, and proportions of your natural teeth.
Is getting porcelain veneers painful?
Porcelain veneer treatment is generally comfortable and painless. In most cases, only minimal tooth preparation is required, and local anaesthesia can be used if needed.
